Drawer Liners

When we finished our basement we added a large bar area along one of the walls. One of my jobs was to paint and seal all of the cabinets. Buying naked cabinets is SUCH a money saver if you are not scared of a little work (ok, maybe more than a little work, but it’s nothing hard, just takes some time).

Naked cabinets on the outside also means naked on the inside and the plain plywood look was not doing anything for me. So I purchased some drawer liner paper from Menards and voila! Much better.

This project was super simple. Here were the supplies I used.

The level doubled as a straight edge and as a weight to help hold back the roll when I was cutting.

I lined all the drawers and cabinets and used two rolls. At about $5 a roll I don’t think I could have done much better!

Have you used this before? It’s been a little over a year since I have done this and it’s really holding up great.
